WingHaven Country Club hosted the 2005 Missouri Golf Association Senior Four-Ball Championship on Tuesday, May 10th and Wednesday, May 11th. Eighty, two man teams competed in a better ball format over the two days. Competitors were divided into three flights, Championship Flight, 50 - 59 Net Flight and 60+ Net Flight. "The course was in fantastic condition and the participants had a wonderful time during their two days here," said Steve Sebastian, WingHaven Country Club Head Golf Professional. The Championship Flight was won by Don Bliss of Chesterfield and Jim Magruder of Creve Couer, the 50 - 59 Net Flight was won by Ron Janssen of Lee's Summit and Mike Steckler of Kansas City and the 60+ Net Flight was won by Bob Brockland of Town & Country and Howard Waller of Chesterfield.
WingHaven Country Club's own Rich Billings and Don Vandervort represented the Club very well by finishing in 5th place with rounds of 61 & 66.
