Men's Club Tournaments & Golf Events
The WingHaven Country Club Men's Golf Committee and member organized Men's Game offer a variety of competitive tournaments for golfers of all levels each year. From the Member / Guest, the year's premier event to Match & Stroke Play Championships to the Men's One Club Scramble, there is a format that suits everyone. All tournaments are professionally run by the Golf Professionals and flighted to allow you to compete against other golfers of comparable abilities.
Men's Game
The WingHaven Men's Game is organized and run by the members of the club and open to any male golfer. With weekly Thursday afternoon and Saturday morning groups, upwards of 60+ members may play in a given week. In addition to the weekly game the Men's Game has introduced a few uniquely formatted events for the men to enjoy including the 3-Man 1-Club Scramble, Final Four Classic & the Men's Game Cup (an end of the year Ryder Cup style match). Golfers of all abilities are able to compete and enjoy the camaraderie, so if you are interested in having a regular game and an easy avenue to meet new people, the Men's Game is for you.
"The WingHaven Men’s Game is an incredible way for new members to make great friends very quickly and truly enjoy our fine golf course, as well as the infamous “19th hole” where skins are awarded, refreshments may be enjoyed, and the occasional small fib may be told about the birdie putt that just barely missed. I found that the “regulars” in the Men’s game welcome ALL of their fellow members, regardless of handicap or ability. This has become one of my very favorite activities at WHCC, which I look forward to participating in at every opportunity. Oh and by the way, playing golf by the rules, with the ball down has actually made me a much better golfer. I would encourage ALL men of WingHaven to participate in everything the Men’s Game has to offer!"
